I went and picked up Hyrule Warriors yesterday, and man have I been putting a lot of time into it. I preordered it from GameStop so I got the Ocarina of Time costumes, and I ordered that season pass for when that new DLC comes out. So far I’m really enjoying the game and I’m going to attempt to 100% it.
This is my newly redecorated dresser, all dusted and new posters right above it. There was more posters up above the two you see, which I’ll post later. On the left we have some toys and models with a R.O.B., Pokemon badges gens 1-5, Kirby Triple Deluxe stand with Kirby toys, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks figurines, three different Nintendo themed playing cards and Hanafuda cards, Bravely Default, Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance and Shin Megami Tensei IV collector’s edition boxes, a Shin Megami Tensei IV box ad, a bunch of little candy cases, Legend of Zelda pins, Pac-Man bank, Sonic the Hedgehog shot glass, Star Fox 64 3D dogtags, a little Kokiri Shield, and a NES Legend of Zelda clock.
Look at these cute little Kirbys! They’re adorable I love them. The little angry one with the puffed up cheek is one of my favorites. I’ll be doing all sorts of cute things with these little guys.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, this is the second time I’ve beaten this game and the first time at 100%, and I have to say I love it even more. I can say now that I’m a little bit older and notice things better, I’m a lot better at this game. However I pretty much played through most of the game without really using the shield, mostly because I didn’t want to break it so not using that can cause problems while playing. However once I earned the Hylian Shield I started using it like crazy. I really liked the ability to upgrade items in the game, and gathering the treasures for it is really not that hard at all to get them especially since they tend to give you a lot through your game. Though some you will have to hunt for, but it’s not that bad. Most people’s main problem with this game is it being more linear then other games. Honestly, that does not bother me one bit. And some people didn’t like that you went to those three main areas more than once. Those areas are huge, I still get lost in the areas, and I never get lost in areas in other Zelda games. The character development with some of the characters, especially Groose, is so nice to watch and it makes me really care about the characters. I’ll also say this that I’m willing to admit, I cried like a baby at the very end of the game when Fi eternally sleeps in the Master Sword, and says “May we meet again in another life…” instantly makes me think of every other Zelda game where I get the Master Sword, where she’s finally reunited with her master yet again, even if it is for a short time.
I also got this big Pikmin 3 poster from GameStop Powerup Rewards. Which was a bit more of a hassle to put up, but it looks so nice where it is now. I really need to go back and play Pikmin 3 again one day.
So in my The Wonderful 101 post the other day I had this mask on. I really don’t think the mask looks as good with eye holes on it, but of course I don’t expect them to make a mask with eye covers like the ones in the game. However I would like to actually make it to where it does have the white eyes like it does in the game. I got this white fabric that’s some what see through and I just used tape to put it on there for now, which doesn’t stick to the mask easy. I don’t have the best eyesight without my glasses, but I still think there’s probably better fabric that you can see through. So are there any cosplayer makers or anyone who knows fabric well enough to tell me what could be good for my mask here. And what method you would suggest that I use to attach the fabric to the mask. So anyone have any answers?
I’ve been wanting a sticker album for the longest time, and all the ones I’ve seen just didn’t suit me, then I remembered there was a Pokemon sticker album. I got it nice and cheap off Amazon, I use to have one back in the day, but I haven’t seen it in years. And I knew the first sticker I wanted to put in it was The Wonderful 101 sticker that was on the bag that my Wonder Mask came in, I wasn’t going to throw that away. Now I’ll slowly build a sticker collection.
I went and picked up Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call today, was a bit sad that it wasn’t that big collector’s edition box thing. Though it’s okay I guess, though I wish the US got better preorders. Anyway I’m really looking forward to playing this once I get my 3DS back from it’s repairs.
The Wonderful 101, an amazing game I’ve been putting off playing for some reason. When I first started playing it when I got it I didn’t get too far in cause I didn’t understand the controls very well. And I picked it back up and actually learned how to play and enjoyed it so much. I really suck at character action games, but I really enjoy playing them especially Platinum Games character action games. Speaking of Platinum, they put their name and logo into the game so many times and made it into important story plot elements by the end of the game. And I loved every time they did it. I loved all of the Wonderful Ones and how different they all were, though I wish there were more moments with Wonder Yellow, White and Black. The truth about the invasion was such a surprise I loved it cause I never would have expected it. I was getting so hyped up at the end that I would put on my Wonder Mask while playing the game so I could feel cooler, while saying “Roger!” with the rest of the characters in the game. Next time I play it I’ll aim to getting all the Wonderful Ones, until then this is a fantastic game for anyone who likes character action games and owns a Wii U. I highly recommend it.
I finally put up my big Bravely Default poster that I got from GameStop Powerup Rewards. I’ve had it for awhile now, but I’ve been hesitate to put it up since I was putting the frame up on an angled wall. It matches well with my advertisement for the game I got from my friend at GameStop. And also goes well with my collector’s edition box with all the nice things in it. I can’t wait for Bravely Second to come out.
