#700 Sylveon - Now who doesn’t love new eeveelutions? Personally I love all the thoughts and theories about what type Sylveon could possibly be. And thoughts ranged from crazy to crazier on what type it is. And I refused to have a male one so I bred Eevees over and over again just to get that female.
#707 Klefki - How could I not love Klefki after reading it’s Pokédex entry? “These key collectors threaten any attackers by fiercely jingling their keys at them.” That is one of the most adorable things ever how could they do this to me.
#716 Xerneas - Look at that majestic creature of life. I love colorful it is in active mode, but I find it kind of weird that it has this neutral mode that doesn’t do anything. I do find it weird how when you compare it to Ylvetal and Zygarde, Xerneas has the advantage over both due to type advantage. Granted Zygarde has that Aura Break ability,
#181 Ampharos - There’s been plenty of cute electric Pokémon in the series, but this little sheered sheep has some potential. It’s speed is lacking for an electric type, it has a nice special attack to make up for it. With it’s new mega evolution, this majestic Pokémon can bring on a whole new fight as a Electric/Dragon type along with the ability Mold Breaker. #479 Rotom - The first electric/ghost type, as well as the first electric/fire type, electric/ice type and electric/grass type. I’ve always liked Pokémon with multiple forms, and the fact that Rotom just possesses random electronics makes it adorable and deadly. Makes me wonder what it would be like if it just possessed other random electronics and what types it would be. #595 Joltik - With a height of 0’04”, this little tick/spider is just a little fuzzy ball of adorableness. It’s tied with Flabébé as the smallest Pokémon ever, so it’s just a little fuzzy baby you can play with in your hand. Personally I’ve never had much of a problem with spiders, at least the non-threatening ones. While sitting on my bed I’ve had some small spiders crawl on my arms, just letting it do whatever since it could only tickle me on my arm.
Finally made perler beads that weren’t Zelda sprites for once today. On the top we have Kirby sleeping on a little moon. And we have Arthur, the hero of the Ghosts ‘n Goblins series. And on the bottom are some Pokémon sprites, we got Tentacruel, Dratini, Hawlucha, and Bulbasaur. The Bulbasaur I plan to give to my adorable friend one day, along with a Raichu I made forever ago.
#149 Dragonite - The very first dragon type in Pokémon along with it’s preevolutions and is still in the top tier ranks among all the Pokémon. It has great all around stats, and has a great movepool to choose from. And if it has it’s hidden ability Multiscale it can last even longer in a fight. #445 Garchomp - It’s literally a land shark, how is that not completely awesome? Another badass dragon with great stats and movepool, and now even has a Mega Evolution to boot now. With more stats as a Mega Pokemon It can be a complete monster to deal with in sandstorms. With Sand Veil it’s evasion is increased by 25%. And when it’s Mega Garchomp it has the ability Sand Force that increases Rock, Ground, and Steel type moves by 33% in sandstorms as well. Truly one monster of a Pokémon. #706 Goodra - At first I was confused how Goomy was a dragon type and not a poison type, granted it would have been cool if it was a poison/dragon type. Also thought it was weird how Sliggoo apparently loses it’s eyesight. But then I saw this big cute baby Goodra and instantly loved it’s Pokédex entry. “This very friendly Dragon-type Pokemon will hug its beloved Trainer, leaving that Trainer covered in sticky slime.” I don’t care if I got sticky, I would hug this big baby all the time. #491 Darkrai - One of my all time favorite event legendaries. I used Darkrai so much to catch Pokémon back in the past gens by using his signature move, Dark Void. I love it’s design and concept on how it’s the Pokémon bad dreams are made out of. Though that doesn’t mean it’s evil, as shown in Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai. #571 Zoroark - Another dark type I instantly fell in love with, like others I assume. It’s design and it’s ability to disguise itself as other Pokémon. I loved it in the movie and it’s little special side part in Black2/White2. It’s HP and defenses aren’t too great, but it’s attacks and speed are quite nice. #658 Greninja - Who doesn’t love a ninja, and who doesn’t love a frog ninja at that. I loved the whole concept of how the Kalos starters were based off a warrior, a witch, and a ninja. I thought the idea of his tongue as a scarf was weird at first, but now I’m totally behind it by how cool Greninja is. (Art Source)
#212 Scizor - Scizor has always been pretty awesome even since the Johto days. Being a top tier Pokémon with an excellent Attack, and it’s ability Technician just improves weaker moves it can learn and makes them even stronger. And now that he has a mega evolution it’s stats are even better to bring in the pain. (Art Source)
#637 Volcarona - Along with it’s pre-evolution Larvesta, Volcarona is the first ever Pokémon that’s both a bug type and fire type. Like Scizor it is also a top tier Pokémon with pretty good stats in Special Attack, Special Defense and it’s Speed. Which those stats can get even better when it uses Quiver Dance, making it devastatingly powerful. Plus it looks so warm to snuggle. (Art Source)
#649 Genesect - Yet another Bug/Steel type, with great stats all around due to it’s legendary status. Plus it’s ability Download, that it shares with the Porygons, it gets a stat boost in either it’s Attack or Special Attack depending on it’s opponent’s weaker defensive stat. It’s a strong predator that Team Plasma made even stronger. It can even change it’s body shape in order to fly at great speeds (well at least in the movie).
I just finished playing through The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for the second time last night, but this time on Hero Mode. Surprisingly I managed to beat this faster then my first play through of the game. Granted I knew where everything was due to my first play through, plus I got three out of fifty of the streetpass challenge medals. Which surprises me cause I haven’t left the house to streetpass the two people I fought. Anyway, in the Hero Mode play through you can find Ravio’s dairy in the vacant house, which shows his plan to head to Hyrule himself to find help. Also I’d like to note, I still want to keep playing this game even though I’ve beaten it twice.
My friend showed me this and I really wanted to do it. This was created by Lugidog, based off an older version. So it sounded like fun, especially since I’ve already done something like this for October and November, might as well keep it going. Though again since I don’t like to play favorites per say, but I’ll pick my three of my favorites from each instead of just one.
Day 30 - From re-deads, to deadhands, wallmasters, and skulltulas and so on, which always scared or still scares you the most? Well as a kid, the Deadhands you had to fight in Ocarina of Time was horrifying. Watching it move towards me in that freaky way with that bloody awful body, made me shutter. Though now, if I had to say what Zelda enemy scares me to death now would be the Guardians from Skyward Sword. I did talk about the guardians in a previous post in last month’s 30 day challenge. And I certainly know I’d wet myself if I had to go through the Shadow Temple in person. Falling through invisible holes, and getting man handled by undead creatures. And worry about a invisible monster coming after me. And just looking at the inside of it, and just imagining what could have happened in this awful place.
Day 29 - The video game that had the best opening and the video game that had the best ending I assume when it asks for opening and ending, it means the intro to the title screen and the credits. I’ll have to think on that since I don’t quite remember all the intros and credits. I certainly like Skyward Sword’s intro, where it gives you the intro to the start of the entire story of the Zelda series. And I certainly liked the beginning and credits to Majora’s Mask. I always thought the end of that game was nice, how it shows all those characters you helped along the way. All of them together and happy to still be alive after there was so close to death. I also liked the intro to Ocarina of Time, but I thought it was a bit strange how they automatically show you that Link becomes older. Granted I don’t remember how they advertised that game back in the day so it was probably already known. Though granted the very last part of that intro was strange how they showed Nabooru collapsing in front of an adult Link with Kotake and Koume throwing out magic. I just thought it was strange to see it there.
